2023-2024 Licensed Special Education Teaching Job - Roseville, MN

Procare Therapy is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for an Elementary School classroom in the Roseville, MN area. The position is a contract position for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing individualized education plans, implementing and modifying curriculum, and supporting students with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and support staff to ensure the success of students with disabilities
• Provide instruction and support in a variety of subjects, based on the individual needs of each student
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities
• Monitor and assess student progress, and make modifications to the curriculum as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and IEP goals
• Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required by the school or district

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
• Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Special Education
• Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an elementary school setting
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Salary and Benefits:

• Pay range from $30 - $40+ per hour, depending on experience, credentials, and budget
