ProCare Therapy is actively recruiting for a Special Education Teacher in Dorchester, MA, for the 2023-2024 school year. This contract hire position offers a typical pay range of $35 to $45 per hour, depending on your experience, credentials, and the school's budget. Additional details about the position will be provided during the interview.

Position Details:

  • Grade Levels: 5th and 6th grade
  • Teaching Model: Inclusion model, including push-in support for math and English, as well as pull-out for targeted instruction
  • Caseload: Responsible for a caseload of students, tracking goals, and IEPs
  • Start Date: ASAP, with employment through 6/21/24
  • Hours: 7:45 am - 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week
  • Interview Rounds: Two rounds of interviews, first with a talent person and then with the Special Education Coordinator/Director
  • Location: Onsite

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License
  • Experience: Prior experience in an inclusion model is preferred
  • Onsite Availability: Must be available to work onsite
