ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Brooklyn NY, has an opening for a Special Education Teacher.

Job At A Glance:

3rd grade special education teacher to provide integrated co-teaching (ICT) and special education teacher support services (SETSS).

The current caseload is 5 students. The classification of disabilities include: 3 speech and language impairment, 1 learning disability, 1 emotional disturbance.

Currently, the position is virtual but if there is a change in staffing schedules or structure then we may need the individual to be available to also provide hybrid instruction. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible. It is a priority to get someone in the role as soon as possible and this can be achieved virtually.

40 hours/week, Last day June 25

*Must have an active NY license and experience with desired caseload Must be certified in the state of NY

  • Bachelors, Master or Doctoral in Special Educations or have taught student with special needs

The selected candidate will be hired on as a full time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A full school year contract will be awarded for you to complete.
