We are actively interviewing and looking to hire on an experienced Special Education (SPED) teacher to join our 22/23 academic team in the Detroit, MI area.

Job Details:

• Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
• Caseload = K-3 or Pre-K, mild to moderate needs
• Following/guiding student in IEPs, attend IEP meetings, plan and create progress reports

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• Master's Degree or Doctoral degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• Prior experience working with PreK-12 students
• Active Special Education Michigan teaching license
• Pre-K teaching license with SPED endorsement or SPED certification with EC
• LBS-1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement
