Job Posting: District Behavior Specialist
We are hiring a full-time District Behavior Specialist to serve as a vital resource for intensive behavior needs across multiple schools in Dalton, GA, from now until May 23, 2025. This itinerant position supports students aged 3-22 with and without disabilities, focusing on behavior observation, analysis, FBA and BIP development, and the creation of effective educational programs for students exhibiting chronic or intense behavioral needs.
The specialist will work closely with a wrap-around team, including parents, educators, counselors, and community agencies, to implement social and behavioral strategies that enhance each student’s success in academic settings.
**Qualified candidates should hold certification in Emotional Behavior Disorders, Special Education, School Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related fields.
