Elementary Licensed Special Education Teaching Opening - Sterling Heights, MI

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Full-Time Elementary School Special Education Teacher to work as a Resource Teacher in Sterling Heights, MI. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching and supporting students with special needs in an elementary school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to provide specialized instruction and support for students with special needs.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior plans for students.
• Provide instruction and support to students in small group or one-on-one settings.
• Monitor and document student progress and communicate with parents and other stakeholders.

Pay:

• $30 - $40 per hour (depending on experience and credentials)

Position Type:

• Resource Teacher

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary school students with special needs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and support staff.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
