Elementary Resource Teacher Position Urgently Hiring

Bilingual Therapies has partnered with a school district near the Lincoln Park, Michigan area that is looking for a Resource Teacher for the school year 2022-2023. Please see additional details about this opportunity below:

Job Type:

• Full time: 35 hours per week
• In person
• Contract position: W2

Qualifications:

• Requires at least a Bachelor's in Education
• Need to have prior Special Education school-based experience 
• Special Education teacher license of Michigan required
• This candidate does NOT have to be bilingual. All are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Able to work with children with mild interventions, ASD, SLD, Mild intellectual disabilities, and other health impairments
• Pull out students for further instruction in reading or math skills
• Attend IEP meetings and give input on IEP goals and progress
• Keep progress reports on students
• Work with other teachers' of students to coordinate their daily schedules and lessons
