Soliant is working with a school district near Keyser, West Virginia to fill a Special Education Teacher position for the 2022-2023 school year. This position requires approximately 40 hours of work weekly, and it is a kindergarten-5th grade caseload. The classroom is a self-contained classroom, and support is provided by two paraprofessionals in the classroom. This position is onsite, and it is a contract position. General Duties:

• Adapt lessons to meet students' needs.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Assess students' educational needs.
• Provide classroom, small group, and one on one instruction.
• Meet and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet students'. educational needs.
• Duties are not limited to those listed above.

Education:

• A degree in special education 
• Must have a Special Education Certification in West Virginia
