Full Time Special Education Teacher

Job Title: Special Education Teacher (23/24) 

Soliant Education is currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to work with students in the Wichita, KS area. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with special needs, including those with learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic success
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school staff to create a positive learning environment
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and achievement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Kansas teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with students with special needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
