Sunbelt Staffing is searching for a full-time SPED teacher near Kent, WA to work the upcoming school year. Candidates should be comfortable working with early childhood students.
SPED teaching job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Working with and teaching a small group of students in and out of the classroom
• Assessing student classwork
• Designing and executing lesson plans
• Developing and adapting to individualized teaching methods for each student
• Using special tools and equipment to stimulate an engaging learning experience
• Utilizing special skills to teach Braille, sign language, and lip reading
• Informing parents of child’s progress and providing recommendations for a better at-home learning environment
• Other duties as assigned (duties may vary with position)
