Full-Time Special Education Teacher for High School Caseload

Location: Buckley, Washington

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a highly qualified and passionate Full-Time Special Education Teacher for the 2023/2024 school year to join our team in Buckley, Washington. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high school students, as this position will involve managing a caseload of 25-30 students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student in your caseload
• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities in the general education classroom
• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instructional strategies as necessary
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each student in compliance with federal and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Active Washington teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with high school students preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
