Hiring for 2023-2024 School Year - Special Ed Teaching Opening - San Jose, CA

Procare Therapy is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to work with Preschool - 12th grade caseloads for the 2023-2024 school year in San Jose, CA. This is a direct hire position with pay ranging from $45K-100K depending on experience, credentials, and budget.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement lesson plans based on individual student needs and goals
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid California teaching license in Special Education
• Prior experience working with Preschool - 12th grade students with special needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
