Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 23/24 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for working with a high school caseload, primarily focused on academic intervention in math and ELA through a resource pull-out model.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide academic intervention and support in math and ELA for high school students in a resource pull-out model
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and communication with stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Ohio teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with high school students with special needs in a resource pull-out model
• Strong knowledge of math and ELA curriculum and ability to differentiate instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
