Position Overview: As a Special Education Interventionalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment within a collaborative and student-focused school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement specialized interventions to support the academic and behavioral needs of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to create and implement effective strategies for student success.
- Provide individualized instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and intervention strategies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction based on individual student needs.
