Licensure Requirement: NC SPED Licensure

Procare Therapy is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Middle School Special Education Teacher in Henderson, NC, for the 2023-2024 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inclusive education support for middle school students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement effective inclusion practices.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' unique needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
- Conduct assessments to monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Special Education (SPED) Licensure.
- Experience working with middle school students, particularly in an inclusive setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-time position (30-35 hours/week).
- Hourly compensation.
- Contracted by Procare Therapy.
