Elementary Special Education Teacher - Part-Time (12-15 hours/week)
Location: Rochester, MN
Employment Type: Contracted by Procare Therapy for the 2023-2024 School Year
Procare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in Rochester, MN. This position is part-time, offering 12-15 hours per week, and the selected candidate will be contracted through Procare Therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic and social growth of each student.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to ensure the success of each student.
Requirements:
- Valid teaching license with a specialization in Mild-Severe special education.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the ability to tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Schedule:
- Part-time: 12-15 hours per week
