Itinerant Early Childhood SPED Teacher in Jacksonville, IL for EOSY (2022-2023)

We are looking to hire multiple Special Education Teachers (SPED) to work the remainder of the 2022/2023 school year (EOSY) in the Jacksonville, IL area. The hired SPED teachers will be working fully onsite with early childhood (EC) age students.

The hired SPED teachers must be flexible to work itinerantly or in classroom-based positions. Exact caseload details will be confirmed based on experience and school district need at the time of hire. 

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• Master's Degree or Doctoral degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• Prior experience working with K-12th grade students
• Active Special Education Illinois state teaching license

Weekly Schedule:

• Mon-Fri, normal school hours
• Fulltime 30-37.5 hours per week, guaranteed; minimum and maximum
• No overtime 
• No paid holidays or school breaks
