 Full-Time Special Education Teacher for Middle School Resource Room in Litchfield, Arizona

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of special education services, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year in Litchfield, Arizona. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with special needs in a resource room setting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student based on their unique needs and abilities.
• Provide instruction in a small group setting, focusing on academic and behavioral interventions to help students achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and therapists to create a supportive learning environment for all students.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and work with administration to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Arizona State teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with middle school students in a resource room setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

A resource room is a specialized classroom where students with special needs receive support and instruction in a small group setting.
