Job Description: Soliant Health is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Middle School Special Education Teachers to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to students with special needs. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
• Provide specialized instruction in various academic subjects and skill areas.
• Utilize appropriate instructional strategies, techniques, and resources to promote student learning and engagement.
• Collaborate with other educators, professionals, and parents to support the academic and social-emotional development of students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and other required records.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning, respect, and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Prior experience working with middle school students with special needs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with diverse needs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Caseload: This position will involve working with a caseload of 17-20 children with varying special needs. The teacher will be responsible for providing individualized support and instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
