Full-Time Special Education Teacher for Middle School Caseload in Buckley, Washington

The ideal candidate will have experience working with middle school students with a variety of exceptionalities and a passion for helping them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide instruction and support to students with varying exceptionalities
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and therapists to create a cohesive educational experience for each student
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and IEP goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Washington State teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with middle school students with special needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
