Middle School Special Education Teacher Job ( Self- Contained) | 23/24 School Year

 Full-time Special Education Teacher - Middle School Level

Location: Cave Creek, Arizona

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is seeking a passionate and experienced special education teacher for a full-time position in Cave Creek, Arizona for the 2023/2024 school year. As a self-contained special education teacher, you will work with students who have significant disabilities and require specialized instruction in a separate classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Use evidence-based practices and specialized teaching strategies to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to ensure student success
• Monitor and track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all school policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Arizona teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with middle school students with disabilities
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and specialized teaching strategies for students with disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
