Position Details: As a Full-Time Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), assess students' progress, and provide tailored instruction and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students based on their individualized goals and objectives
• Assess students' academic and functional abilities
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to develop and modify instructional strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with students with special needs
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
