Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a School Psychologist for a position in the Newport Heights, IN area. This role will involve providing comprehensive psychological services to students within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs
- Collaborating with school staff, parents, and outside agencies to develop and implement intervention plans
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing input on student accommodations and services
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Supporting the school's efforts in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Indiana
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations in an educational setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
