ProCare is looking to hire a Special Education teacher near Franklin Park to work with one of our school districts in Illinois for the remainder for the 23/24SY.

Job Details:
- Early childhood (Pre-Kindergarten)
- Co-teaching and case management
- Caseload
- 5 students in AM
- 5 students in PM
- Parent-teacher conferences some evenings/afternoons
- Full Time (32.5hr/week paid + .5hrs lunch)
- 8am -3:45pm
- In person
As a special education teacher in Illinois, your job responsibilities will include:
- Developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with needs in your classroom.
- Creating and implementing lesson plans that are tailored to the needs and abilities of your students.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, and adjusting instruction accordingly.
- Providing accommodations and modifications to support student learning.
- Collaborating with other educators, parents, and administrators to provide a comprehensive education experience for students with disabilities.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Ensuring that all instructional materials and state and federal regulations are followed.
Qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Special Education or a related field.
- Hold a valid Special Education teaching certificate from the Illinois Department of Education.
- The school will accept LBS1 with EC experience or LBS1/ECT licensure
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
