Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for K-12 positions in Rock Hill, SC, for the upcoming school year. We have multiple full-time opportunities available in various schools within the district. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction to students in various subjects, focusing on academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with other members of the school team, including other special education staff, general education teachers, and related service providers.
• Communicate and build relationships with parents and caregivers to support student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to student progress, IEPs, and interventions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure in Special Education (or eligible for certification).
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Passion for making a difference in the lives of students with special needs.
