School Based Contract: Full Time Special Education Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique learning needs.
- Provide direct instruction and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students' varying abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress and make data-driven adjustments to educational plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports social and emotional growth.
- Employ effective classroom management strategies to enhance engagement and minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Ohio state teaching license in Special Education.
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational setting.
