Two full-time contract positions are available for Special Education Teachers serving as SPED Case Managers, focusing on students in both middle and high school settings. Located near Denver, CO, this onsite opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, to May 20, 2027.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Colorado SPED Teacher Certification is required
- Experience managing IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and implementing specialized instructional strategies
- Background working with either middle or high school students with a range of learning and behavioral needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt instruction and monitor progress to support student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Case management for a designated caseload of middle or high school students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and educational staff
- Provide direct specialized instruction in both group and individual settings
- Conduct progress monitoring, collect data, and complete compliance documentation
- Facilitate collaboration with general education teachers and related service providers
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and school-based support teams
