Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Current Kansas State Teaching License with endorsement (special education or behavioral focus)
- Preferred: Additional licensure in school psychology, social work, or school counseling
- Direct experience with conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Background in supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional needs and implementing data-driven interventions
- Experience as a school-based behavior specialist, BCBA, or in a similar capacity is preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve an itinerant K-12 caseload across multiple districts
- Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs
- Lead school teams in implementing effective behavioral supports
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and staff to promote student success
- Deliver behavior coaching and training, assist in crisis situations, and promote evidence-based strategies
