ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a middle school resource position in Salem, OR for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Position Overview
The Special Education Resource Teacher will provide academic support to middle school students in both push-in and pull-out settings. The ideal candidate will work closely with staff, families, and students to promote academic growth and student success.
Responsibilities
Provide resource support in reading, math, and other core academic subjects
Develop and implement instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
Support students in general education classrooms through collaboration and co-teaching
Monitor academic and behavioral progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance requirements
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
Active Oregon Special Education certification (or eligibility)
Previous experience in a resource or inclusion setting preferred
Strong collaboration, communication, and instructional skills
Ability to support middle school students academically and behaviorally
