What Helps You Stand Out:

  • Current Colorado Special Education (SPED) Certificate required
  • Recent experience as a Special Education Teacher or SPED Case Manager, preferably in middle or high school
  • Proficiency in developing, modifying, and implementing IEPs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to meeting educational goals and supporting diverse learning needs

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Oversee a defined middle or high school caseload
  • Provide specialized instruction and adapt curriculum as needed
  • Track student progress and adjust support accordingly
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure classroom inclusion
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding goals and achievements
