Special Education Teacher - Cicero, IL
Embark on a dynamic contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher, serving elementary students in a self-contained classroom. Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid PEL License with LBS1 (ESL, EC, or SPED endorsement)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Demonstrated experience in self-contained classroom settings
- Strong ability to write, implement, and track IEPs
- Excellent communicator with team collaboration skills
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Teach and support elementary students (grades 4th–6th) in a self-contained classroom
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to each student's IEP
