 Full-time Special Education Teacher for Developmental Self-Contained Preschool Class

Location: Cave Creek, Arizona

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly qualified full-time special education teacher to work in a Developmental Self-Contained Preschool Class for the 2023/2024 school year. As a special education teacher, you will work with children with varying exceptionalities and provide individualized instruction based on their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students with varying exceptionalities in a Developmental Self-Contained Preschool Class
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies to support student learning and progress towards their individualized goals
• Collaborate with other educators and service providers to ensure the delivery of comprehensive services
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate in Special Education
• Experience working with young children with varying exceptionalities
• Knowledge of evidence-based teaching strategies and special education laws and regulations

 Developmental Preschool Caseload:

• Students aged 3-5 years old with varying exceptionalities
• Developmental Self-Contained Preschool Class
• Small class size with paraprofessional support
• Full range of services including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy
