Special Education Compliance Specialist – Jersey City, TX

Sunbelt is hiring a Special Education Compliance Specialist to fill an open role within a Jersey City, TX area school. Work with a school district that supports its teachers. This school is looking for someone to start as soon as possible and assist their SPED team with conducting ARD meetings and paperwork.


Requirements:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in Special Education or related fields
• Must have an active TX SPED License
• Previous Special Education or ARD/compliance experience preferred but not required
• Pass a Drug screen and background check

Job specifics:

• Full-time: 37.5hrs/wk, Monday – Friday
• Contract assignment starts ASAP and ends at the end of the school year with option for contract renewal for summer and or 23/24 school year.
• Responsible for planning and executing ARD’s and SPED paperwork for roughly 31 student’s total.
• Assist the SPED team with IEP paperwork for students in grades 9^th – 12^th.
