Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Special Education Elementary Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs in Litchfield Park, Arizona. As a contracted employee with Procare Therapy, you will have the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide special education instruction to elementary school students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to promote student engagement and success.
• Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience working with elementary students with special needs.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
