Special Education ESY

Position: Special Education Teacher - Extended School Year (ESY)

Are you a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher looking for an opportunity to support students with special needs during the extended school year? Soliant is seeking passionate individuals to join our team for the upcoming 2023 summer session!

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities during the ESY program
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' unique needs and goals
• Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment by adapting curriculum and instructional strategies
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure student success
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
• Valid Nebraska state teaching credential with Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with students with diverse disabilities, specifically in ESY programs
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
