Special Education Resource Room Teaching Position - Phoenix, AZ - Actively Interviewing

We are looking for a Special Education Teacher to join the team at a school district in Phoenix, Arizona. This will be a full-time position for the upcoming school year where you will be handling a resource room. There is a resource room position for either elementary or middle school students - please state if you have a preference. 

Job Details: 

  • On-site but students may be remote
  • Full-time
  • You may be able to name your age group preference - there are two openings: 
    • Elementary School Resource Room: 12 students
    • Middle School Resource Room: 20 students


You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching a group of students with mild or moderate disabilities
  • Modify existing curriculum on basic subjects (e.g. math, writing) to meet each student’s learning requirements
  • Build individual lesson plans tailored to their specific needs
  • Discuss with parents and support staff about important matters that might impede students’ progress


Candidates MUST have a valid Arizona Special Education Teaching certificate to be considered for an interview.
