Special Education School Teacher Opportunity – Calumet City, IL
A school district in the Calumet City, IL is seeking a Special Education School Teacher to fill an open need. This district needs someone who can start at the beginning of the 23-24 school year and lead their students with quality aids and services for the full school year. Work with a school district that supports its teachers and students!

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in general education or related fields
• Must have a valid IL Special Education License (LBS I or LBS II)
• Must have IL PEL Certification
• Previous Special Education Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Pass a Drug screening and background check.

Job Specifics:

• Full-time, onsite Monday – Friday, 37.5hrs/wk
• Caseload, mild to moderate, 2^nd-8^th grade.
• Further caseload details will be discussed in interview and placement will be based off experience.
