Special Education School Teacher Role – Rexburg, ID
Sunbelt is seeking a Special Education Teacher to fill an open role within an Rexburg, ID school district. This school is looking for someone can start early July 2023 and assist their students with reaching their educational goals throughout the full year. After successful completion of the 23/24 school year, candidates will have an opportunity to return for future caseloads based on performance. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or related fields
• Must have an active ID SPED endorsement.
• Must have ID Teaching certification.
• Previous Special Education Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a Drug screen and background check.

Job specifics:

• Full-time: 37.5hrs/wk, Monday – Friday
• Conduct assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students to identify learning issues.
• Assist students and teaching staff in implementing IEPs and behavior modification plans.
• Coordinate with administrators and other staff.
• 3^rd grade – 5^th grade, Push in/Pull out (resource) – ELA reading specialization.
