Special Education Teacher Contract Job in Ashburn, WA |23/24 school year

Job Title: Full-Time Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Special Education Teacher for the 2023/2024 school year in Ashburn, Washington.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide academic instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of subjects
• Collaborate with other educators and related service providers to meet the unique needs of each student
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• State certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with disabilities, including autism, developmental delays, and behavioral disorders
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and related service providers
