Job Title: Full-Time School Special Education Teacher

Location: Buhl, Idaho

Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time School Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year in Buhl, Idaho. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and support to students with special needs. We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic and behavioral areas
• Collaborate with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student performance and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide updates on student achievements and areas for improvement
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
• Valid Idaho teaching license with special education endorsement
• Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
