Position Overview:
As a Full-Time Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational services to students with disabilities. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team of professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), develop appropriate instructional strategies, and foster a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
• Design and deliver specialized instruction using evidence-based teaching methods
• Provide individual and small group instruction to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid Washington state teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
