Job Title: Full-Time Special Education Teacher

Location: Suffolk, Virginia

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational resources, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year in Suffolk, Virginia. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
• Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
