Special Education Teacher

Qualifications:
- Educator License/Certificate in state of VA
Times:
- 2023-2024 School year
- Full Time
- Monday - Friday
- 37.5 hours per week
Role requirements:
- Teacher is responsible for overseeing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) educational programming
- Kth-12th positions, variety of disabilities and mild/mod classrooms
- Classroom resource positions with caseloads up to 32 students
- SDC classes with 8-12 students typically
- supervising assigned teaching assistants/ 1:1 aide,
- participation in IEP meetings, quarterly/ annual report updates,
- communicating with parents and collaborating with Behavior Analyst, SLP, Occupational / Physical Therapists assigned to the class.
- Trainings provided through Relias training modules and on-site training instruction with supervising Licensed Behavior Analyst.
