Licensure Requirement: Rhode Island Special Education Licensure
Soliant Education is actively seeking a dedicated Special Education Instructor to join our team and work with a 6th-grade resource room in the Warwick, Rhode Island area. This is a full-time position, starting immediately and continuing through June 18, 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students in a 6th-grade resource room setting.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Rhode Island Special Education Licensure is required.
- Experience working with 6th-grade students in a special education setting.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
