Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for Early Childhood Education to join our team in the Hudson, MA area. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who have special needs, including developmental delays, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs, both in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to provide a comprehensive education program that addresses the unique needs of each student.
• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to the education plan as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and IEP implementation.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Massachusetts certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with young children with special needs, including those with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other professionals.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education.
