Full-Time Special Education Teacher for Grades 6-8 with Emotional Disabilities

Location: Litchfield, Arizona

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year. As a Special Education Teacher in Litchfield, Arizona, you will work with students in grades 6-8 who have emotional disabilities. This is a full-time position that requires an Arizona Special Education certification.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students with emotional disabilities
• Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and administrators to support the academic and social success of students with special needs
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Arizona Special Education certification
• Prior experience working with students with emotional disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
• Positive and flexible attitude
