Sunbelt would like to hire an experienced Special Education Teacher for a new position near the Austin, Texas area. This is a full time job offering 37 hours/week, specifically serving middle school students. 

You would be a good fit for this job if: 

• Current and up to date teaching certification with the proper credentials for special education teaching
• Prior experience teaching special education students or relevant internship
• Capable of implementing IEP program with appropriate goal setting 
• This is an onsite position - teacher would need to commute to an area near Austin, Texas 

Day to day activities of the job include:

• Work in the reading room for middle school students 
• Develop IEP for students utilizing the ARD committee process by consulting with other staff, the parents and students 
• Tailor lesson plans and curriculum according to student's needs
