Job At A Glance:

Hours: 40

Caseload (# of students)/Job Details: a full-time special education teacher could have a caseload up to 22 students

Types of disabilities, mild – severe, hearing, vision, etc.: Cognitive Impaired, Speech and Language Impaired, Specific Learning Disability, Emotional Impairment, Otherwise Health Impaired, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Early Childhood Developmentally Delayed

Credentialing Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree - Certified Special Education Teacher. Currently, Plymouth Scholars has students that are both hybrid and virtual. 

Interview times:  to be determined by the school leadership team

How quickly can you make and offer/decision: ASAP

Program and District Highlights/Selling Points:  High functioning, veteran special education team, collaborative team approach across all staff , individualized coaching provided 1:1 or small group with administrator over Special Education, flexibility in the delivery of supports/services (pull out, push in, co-taught), PPE is provided to support staff and students in social distancing
