 Special Education Teacher 

A school district located in Turner, Maine is looking to hire a licensed Special Education Teacher for a contract position for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. This contract position will be through ProCare Therapy.

You will be paid weekly at an experience-based hourly rate. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits. 

Job Description 

  • Full Time
    • 37.5-40 hours per week 
  • Duties
    • Planning for instruction, teaching, managing four paraprofessionals, attending IEP meetings and completing all related paperwork
  • Caseload
    • 17-19 Students
  • Contract Length: December 15th - End of School Year
    • You will start with 2 days of shadowing
  • Zoom Interview
  • New Graduates Welcome

Job Requirements

  • Active Special Education Teaching License in Maine

The Process
