Special Education Teaching Position (SPED) - Kalamazoo, MI - Current School Year

We are looking for a Special Education Teacher to join the team at a school district in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area. 

You will be responsible for teaching a group of students with mild to moderate disabilities. You will modify existing curriculum on basic subjects (e.g. math, writing) to meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans tailored to their specific needs. You will also discuss with parents and support staff about important matters that might impede students’ progress.

This will be a full-time position for the current school year where you will be handling a resource room. There will be approximately 18-24 students in classroom. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday. 

Candidates MUST have a valid Michigan Special Education Teaching certificate to be considered for an interview.
